After engaging a ‘traditional’ vendor to deliver an end-to- end cloud transformation, this financial services provider found themselves stranded in a situation where money had exchanged hands, and some benefits has been realised, but the wow factor – the promise and value of true, enterprise, native cloud – was missing. In fact, the only discernible outcome of the project was traditional infrastructure on demand.
